Stag in Blackwork – a free embroidery pattern

Stag in Blackwork

As far as blackwork patterns go, I not only like to play around a bit but I’m also quite partial to the Assisi approach. Thus my original idea for the stag in blackwork was in the making.

I wanted to combine the different patterns but without blending them into eachother. I don’t feel confident enough to blend. Blending is for later. I also wanted to make it as simple as possible so that even beginners could stitch it. And I’m writing this as I’m looking at the antlers and realize I may have failed slightly in that department.

But stick it through and the endresult might be even better than you imagined!

The download is a pdf-file which you can download for free. You need to have minimum Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open the file.

You are free to stitch, showcase and do whatever alterations to the pattern you may wish.
My only request is that you do not share/redistribute my work.
