Norwegian Biscornu No. 2
This particular had bold purple colours beautiful additional blues and coral tones.
The reconstructed pattern comes from a traditional Norwegian folk costume (called Bunad) which often includes intricate beadwork in all various colours. This particular had bold purple colours beautiful additional blues and coral tones. I would suggest its both modern and traditional at the same time due to its beautiful bold colours combined with the old pattern.
My example was stitched using Aida 18 and 2-thread DMC cotton in cross stitch.
Thread estimate is about half a skein of each colour. There are five colours in total.
DMC numbers are the same as the colours I’ve used in my example.
Pattern file will be in two parts.
